You can support the important research funding work of Tenovus Scotland through one-off or regular donations or by choosing to leave us a legacy in your Will.
With Tenovus Scotland, you know the funding will go to rigorously vetted scientific projects in Scotland across the range of healthcare, giving potentially key research help at a crucial early stage.
An important principle is that funds are spent in the region where they are raised, supporting research in academic institutions and clinical centres in that area. This local accountability ensures close monitoring of funding to maximise the benefits.
Many of our projects are able to be funded thanks to legacy gifts, so please consider Tenovus Scotland for a legacy when you are writing your Will.
It is best to visit a solicitor to draw up or your Will to make sure your wishes for your family and any charities cannot be misunderstood later on.
The Tenovus award has allowed us to explore a new technology, quantifying thousands of proteins at the same time in a single sample. This is going to be a step change in our approach to studying arthritis using both laboratory grown cells and real patient samples.
